Irene Darkwaah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from West Virginia University, Morgantown, USA, and a Diploma in American Studies, French and Photography from Miss Porter’s School, Farmington, Connecticut, USA. She is a graduate of African Leadership Academy, Johannesburg, South Africa. She works for CARE International in Ghana, in the Sub-Office Sunyani, Ghana where she supervises projects in training and monitoring the village savings and loan association in functional literacy as well as nutrition and gender awareness in the community.
