Advisor and Ambassador for Blue Economy. She works with the Executive Office of the President and the Government of Kenya to formulate and implement policies and strategies that promote the sustainable development and management of Kenya’s marine resources and coastal areas. She represents Kenya in regional and international forums and initiatives on maritime affairs, such as the Indian Ocean Rim Association and the African Union. She has over 37 years of experience in the maritime sector and has led and managed various organizations and projects, such as the Kenya Maritime Authority, the Association for Women in the Maritime Sector in Eastern & Western Africa, and the Technical Cooperation Committee of the International Maritime Organization, among others.
