Dr Caroline Mulinya is senior lecturer of geography and climate change sciences and director of university linkages and career services Kaimosi Friends University
She holds a Ph.D. in Geography (Climatology and Climate Change) from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (2017), a Master of Arts in Geography in Climatology from the University of Nairobi ( 2006), and a Bachelor of Arts in Education( Geography) from Moi University (1999).
She is an experienced educator at both secondary and university levels with over 20 years and specialization in Climatology with a bias towards climate change impact, adaptation, mitigation, and Food security. She has mentored and supervised both undergraduate and graduate students. Authored publications on Climate Change-related issues regarding agriculture, health and water, and Gender. She is passionate about community-based activities that foster environmental management and conservation particularly those that involve local adaptation strategies to climate change with a gender lens. She has held various positions both in Academia and Research Institutes.
